Good Wednesday Morning my fellow Forumeers.
Sunny and warm the last couple of day, so naturally, it will come to an end. Supposed to have clouds rolling in and chances of rain strting tonight or tomorrow and continuing through thursday night, Friday morning. then the temps will drop to the low 60's for daytime temps, but at least no below freezing temps are forecast for the next 7 days. Breakfast is on and steaming hot. Eggs are ready to be cooked to order and the coffees and teas are fresh and hot, with a pitcher of the iced variety in case Les is still dealing with heat and humidity. Karl, I need need to get back into my walk routine and will, once these sinuses quit throbbing. Sad news about the shooting incident over your way. Larry, sure hope the transition doesn't last the whole 3 weeks!! Tom, what a mess!! I hate having to deal with computer viruses and such. Hope the rains aren't too bad for you. We haven't dried out, yet!! Jim, The guy I helped get out of the mud did thank me and apoligized about getting me so muddy. Brian, Yes, LD did close the door, but made me stand on an old rug, to keep the mud off her recently cleaned kitchen floor!! Rick, sure hope you get to feeling better and that you reach your bowling goal. LD & I like Bones, too, but don't have any on DVD. We watch missed episodes on another channel, when we can. Michael, is it getting any warmer so that you can venture out to the railroads in the garage? Any word on the city or contractor fixing up your yard after the recent "repairs"? Cliff, good to see you stopping by when you can. Have fun running the "new" passenger train. Might get to the trains for a while this evening. The class I've been teaching has been put on "hold". The whole program is under investigation by the State Training & Standards Commission. Apparently there have been some things going on that have caused the current director to have been suspended back in November. The guy holding things together just can't fix what's been screwed up, becuase it's apparently that bad. There's so mcuh rumor and innuendo that one can't possibly believe all that's said. Just have to wait till the investigation is complete. I just feel bad for the students who are in this predicatment through no fault of their own. Guess I'd best get things going. So much to do and never enough time to get 'em done. -------------------- Mike :icon_smile_cop:

Good Morning All!
Not much to report from the land of Buckeyes on this rainy Wednesday.Yesterday I setup a small "train set" type layout on my 2'x4' with 2 industrial sidings-boring! Nope Unitrack with #6 switches and 2x4' layouts not good bedfellows IMHO..This will hold till I can gather C55 track for a ISL once it becomes available again.. One thing good to report is my breathing is much better today. I shall have a cup and look over the forum. Have a good'un! -------------------- Larry

Good Afternoon all.
Well, getting into the evening now, just after 5.30pm! A dry but very windy day, north east winds gusting up to 35mph! Its alright walking out but the coming back isn't too good..... Now makes it 10 days without rain (or snow).....!!!! Don't know where the day has gone..... Though didn't surface much before 8.30 this morning! Done a few 'honey-do' items but also ran some trains late this afternoon. Probably watch a few train DVD's this evening whilst waiting for the GL to come home from work! Better go and see how dinner is coming along, and check what else I've missed on the Forum. Have a good evening. Brian -------------------- CEO, Deadwood City Railroad.

Good Afternoon from cloudy and mild Northeast Ohio, rain showers expected later this afternoon and evening. Possible Thundershowers tonight or tomorrow.
Did the same last night as the night before, had my jacket on at work with the cold air blowing out of the air conditioning (heating) system. When I got home all I did was want to get warm again. Athearn has announced GP7 and GP9 in the Genesis Line with all new railroad specific attachments, fuel tanks, skirtings etal. Everyone have a great day. -------------------- Regards

Good afternoon,
Temps above 50 F again. Looks like upper 40's and 50's for several days. Seems funny the way we get locked into weather patterns. This stuff makes one wonder how far off the tornados are. T-storms predicted tomorrow night. Got downstairs yesterday. What a mess. Spent a couple of hours and hardly made a dent. Sawdust, scraps and other stuff all over. Some of it even filtered into the train room. Early morning meetings wear me out and I have to take a nap to catch up. Sure wish I had some of Burgundy's 5 year-old energy. Chief, hope the screw ups aren't so serious the program gets scrapped. Brian, sure would be nice if the snow word were put away til next winter. Looks like lunch is calling. -------------------- Iron Ridge Division

Lo flo frummers, a goodly turnout here today.
It was raining and very grey when I arose today - now though, the sun is out and it is very nice indeed. Mike, Garage is still a bit chilly for me to dwell to long. As for the lawn, they have patched and seeded it all just yesterday. Todat it has a covering od straw. So, we are well pleased. Especially as the section was well rutted by cars crossing the grass to turn around! I am going to have to get a big rock and plant it there, to stop em doing it. Larry, I'm glad things are better for your breathing, I can truly sympathise with you. Have a great evening folks. Michael. -------------------- Oh for the days when steam ruled and coal was king.
