Hey Gents,
My LHS is stocking a new paint called Tru-Color: http://www.trucolorpaint.com/index.php?p=1_2_Paint-Products I purchased a coupla bottles of their GN paints, and have found the characteristics to be very similar to Accupaint. Accupaint went outa business quite a while ago, and I know of a number of modelers who really liked it. My local pusher tells me this could well be a pick up from the Accupaint line. The only real difference I noted in the application of the paint was it is not as glossy as Accupaint was. Although the manufacturer states it comes ready to spray, I find that 10% thinner really enhances the spray quaility. Anyway, somethin' to try if you have a hankerin'. -------------------- Don in "Orygun" City

You're right about the Accupaint link Don, under their 'About us' it says:
"Tru-Color Paint was formed by Rick Galazzo and Scott Cohen in 2008 in Phoenix, AZ. Both principals have extensive experience with formulating paint on the commercial scale and decided to branch out on their own in the model paint business. With the need for a superb solvent based paint, they reformulated the old Accupaint material to flow better and give a more glossy appearance after drying." I see they are selling in 2 oz and 16 oz sizes. 16 oz would seem like a lifetime supply of most colors. Thanks, I think I'll try some but I'll definitely have to do it mail-order. -------------------- John Brock
