When the GL's Mum comes down to stay, me and GL's son always have a bet on for which story we're going to hear again....!!!

And another one all round Barkeeper!!

We had a friend named Whitey that told the same story or two at least 3-4 times a week. Everyone within earshot heard that he was a truck driver for GM for 34 years and never got a ticket and was Lansing, MI, Safety Council Trucker of the Year one year. He's missed, as are his stories. When ever the Doll or one of our friends starts to tell a story over we're bound to call 'em "Whitey".... me, I can't tell a story worth a damn.

My grandpa was notorious for telling the same stories over and over again for the last ten years of his life.

Boy! Do I wish I could here them stories again.

Most of our clientele can't dance either. Interferes with their drinking. That's why all them stool and tables is on that hardwood. Course, the way business has been lately, I might as well stack the stairs on top of the tables. Makes it easier to clean the floor

Karl, I read the link on that concoction you posted. Sounds "interesting", but......... never have been able to acquire the taste for liquor or any derivatives thereof.
Of course, few folks I know, care for dry red wine either. I get the same look when they taste it and say it tastes like gasoline/kerosene/sour vinegar, etc.
But here in the Blue Note, I can have whatever I want!!!!
