Well.....
Since becoming gainfully employed and working more hours than I care to count... heh heh , I kinda lost track of where I was on this thing, and am WAYYYY behind.
I have probably picked up another 300+ cars and 30+ engines since I posted last, in trades, ebay sales, etc. I currently paint 54mm soldiers, seal them and then sell them on ebay. Camouflage is hard to paint for some collectors and the sealer insures that the paint won't crack or peel off, so these are becoming a hot item. So once I get organized and make sure I am not listing duplicate items I already have listed (I built more shelves and reorganized everything by manufacturer), I shall pickup where I left off. I wish there were more of us that would get involved with this topic. It seemed to hit off well with the motive power, so I am at a loss as to why people aren't listing their cars. Hmmmmmmm... Hello
Well after years changing scales I have decided to build a HO switching layout which will be ran via carcards and waybill system. I have only got 2 locos a U-Boat NYC and a S-12 NYC plus one boxcar and a gon. So I have started my list but I'm thinking not much fun swithing 2 peices of rolling stock around. I'm just about to sell all of my On30 collection and go on a big HO buying trip. Before I do that I will be sitting down and work out what I need to buy and trying to work out the mix of cars via type. Thanks for reading Hmmm, my frist post. Stuart |

800 freight cars is a bunch. Although Iv'e never counted there must be about 600 freight cars 200 locomotives 40 cabooses and around 100 passenger cars here. The layout holds 40 cars with all sidings and the yard full so there is enough stuff to run.
The present additions are the Empire Builder from Walthers which will add 15 cars. Also going to try and build the GN Western Star to go with the EB. That will be a challenge as the cars have to come from several sources. |

Love the Empire Builder; I've ordered an entire set for the store as a display (although I reserved the DCC version of the loco so it can also run around the store layout).
